Plans for Washington D.C.

So jetzt find ich mal wieder die Zeit Bilder vom Foto runter zu laden und zu bloggen. Ist ja Spring break und ich eine Woche frei. Danach habe ich noch neun Wochen Schule bis zu den Sommerferien hier, vielleicht gibt es aber ein neues Gesetz in Kentucky, dass wir nicht alle Schneetage nachholen muessen. Das waere echt super! Morgen gehts fuer mich nach Washington D.C.... ich freu mich schon riessig! Ich will aber auch irgendwie nicht das die Sommerferien kommen, weil ich dann bald wieder nach Deutschland zurueck komme.

Thursday, April 3, 2014:
2-5 pm Arrive Reagan National Airport and take hotel bus to hotel
6 pm Take Metro to Dupont Circle
7 pm Dinner @ Moroccan restaurant with finger foods, belly dancers (Marrakesh at P Street)
10 pm Take Metro to hotel
10:30 pm Arrive at hotel

Friday, April 4, 2014:
7-8 am Breakfast at the hotel (included)
8:15 am Depart hotel for US Capitol Building (via Metro)
9 am-11:30 am National Capitol
12-12:30 pm Lunch at the Air and Space Museum (own expense)
12:30-2 pm Visit Air and Space Museum
2-5 pm Visit a Smithsonian Museum of choice
5-6 pm Take Metro to Pentagon City Mall
6 pm Dinner at Pentagon City Mall (own expense)
7-9 pm Shopping at Pentagon City Mall on your own
9:15 pm Arrive at hotel

Saturday, April 5, 2014:
7-8 am Breakfast at the hotel (included)
8:15 am Depart hotel for monuments and memorials (via Metro)
9-12 pm View Lincoln, Korean War and Vietnam War Memorials
12-1 pm Picnic lunch (included) under the cherry blossom trees at the Tidal Basin
1-3 pm View the WWII, Martin Luther King, Jr, and Franklin D. Roosevelt Memorials
3:30 pm View the White House
4:30 pm Shopping and dinner (own expense) at Gallery Place
6:30 pm Take Metro to Nationals Stadium
7 pm Watch DC Nationals vs Atlanta Braves baseball game
10:30 pm Take Metro to hotel
11 pm Arrive at hotel

Sunday, April 6, 2014:

8:15 am Depart hotel for DC National Mall or the National Zoo
9 am-12 pm Visit the Holocaust Museum or the National Zoo

3 pm Depart hotel for airport - Fly home
